Ankylosaurus magniventris
“The Living Tank”
Ankylosaurus, meaning 'fused lizard', was the ultimate defensive dinosaur. Covered head to tail in thick, bony armor plates called osteoderms, it was virtually impervious to predator attacks. Its most fearsome weapon was its massive tail club, which could swing with enough force to shatter the bones of attacking tyrannosaurs.
