“Egg Thief”
Oviraptor, meaning 'egg thief', was named after being found near a nest of eggs, leading scientists to assume it was stealing them. Later discoveries revealed those were actually its own eggs - it was a caring parent protecting its nest! This feathered dinosaur had a distinctive parrot-like beak and crest, and was likely an omnivore.
