Triceratops, meaning 'three-horned face', was one of the last and largest ceratopsian dinosaurs. Its three facial horns and large bony frill were likely used for defense against predators like T-Rex, as well as for attracting mates. Triceratops was a herbivore that used its parrot-like beak to crop tough vegetation.
