Tyrannosaurus rex
“The King of Dinosaurs”
Tyrannosaurus Rex, meaning 'tyrant lizard king', was one of the largest land predators to ever exist. With its massive skull, powerful jaws containing 50-60 serrated teeth, and tiny but muscular arms, T-Rex dominated North America during the Late Cretaceous period. Recent research suggests it may have had feathers and was likely an intelligent, social hunter.
